The need to protect a basic technology: Data Security If you think that governments and their intelligence agencies provide you with unbreakable data encryption algorithms, then you should not go on reading here. The best known such organization is the NSA. As a subsidiary of the U.S. DoD (Department of Defense of the USA), they are supposed to protect military data exchange and to gather information about whatever might be a threat to the country. There's nothing wrong about that. The world would actually be pretty chaotic without them. It would although be naive to believe that the NSA provides data encryption technologies to the public that they have a tough time to break. Who actually has an interest to protect your information? So far ONLY YOU! There exist organisations for almost anything in this world: Greenpeace to save the planet, the United Nations to prevent conflicts between states, but there is noone out there who makes sure that data security is protected. There clearly is the need to protect the highest good that we have in the 21st century! What needs to be done: - Providing of secure cryptographic algorithms that deserve their name free of charge and with source code - Providing an encryption scheme that is likely to be adopted by most users (we've been on the moon but still send e-mails as plaintext!) - Helping programmers to upgrade their non-commercial or commercial software - Political and economical independence so that help can be provided and so that no back doors are built into the software - Defense from lawsuits (certain states are likely to oppose personal freedom that is protected by our work) Solution: - A nonprofit organization that pursues the goal to provide strong data encryption software to programmers so that the personal freedom of computer users is protected. - Financing through donations from affiliates and partners. - Partners can be private persons and companies - Residence in a peaceful and stable country with open-minded people like Switzerland, the Netherlands or likewise - Strict independence from states and government organisations - Adherence to laws that are common in the free world (which conflicts with the target to provide unbreakable encryption technologies) Help us to create such an organisation by contacting us here. Thank you very much!
